Another Dissapointing Day For Earnings

I haven't made a cent yet today. I only made $0.07 yesterday. I checked a few of the directories' stats on my articles and only a few have published any yet. I am hoping that is the reason I haven't made any money yet. This is the part that is always discouraging me. Giving out a ton of effort and not getting the results that you expect. It is like no matter how hard you work you just can't get it. This time I am not listening to myself. I am going to continue submitting my articles until I can't possibly submit another one.

I am using my Keyword Elite Software, as I am writing this post, for my daily email. Once that is done I am going to add some content to one of my sites. The one that has made me the most in one day so far is what I am going to try and expand upon.

I will report my progress in a few hours.

Spent Some Time Away From The Computer Today

I went out and looked at homes today. My wife and I are looking into investing in real estate. We own our home but, we are both earning more than we were a year ago, by a good amount. We can afford a bigger home. We want to buy a bigger home and rent our current one out. We just started looking into it today. Enough about that though. It doesn't have much to do with my internet business.

My AdSense income went way down so far today. I don't understand why it was so good 2 days ago and I can't get more than 2 clicks a day for these last two days. The upside is that I didn't pay anything for those clicks. I also think that one of my articles getting published on ezine articles and being listed on their first page helped. I will continue to submit articles throughout the week and I suspect that as I get more of those articles approved and on high ranking websites, my linking will help my page rank and hopefully my search engine rankings.

One more thought I have been having is to go back to some of the stuff I learned from the Keyword Elite training videos. They talked about taking the keywords that are searched on Google but have no results and creating content for that phrase. Doing that coupled with getting links to other pages on your website will help your pages get high search engine rankings for more keywords and that translates into more traffic. I will add that to my things to do for this next week.

The way I understand from my reading on getting ranked by the search engines is that a site with a high page rank means that the search engine spiders crawl that site often. They also follow the links from that site. That means that your site will get noticed from the search engines if you have a link to your site from a high page ranked website. Once at your site the spider will follow your links and classify your site and its relevency.

If your site has pages on it that have keywords and phrases that other sites do not then you will get a number one listing for those keyword phrases. So, if you use the content generator from IContent Robot to create a webpage and some articles to promote that page, and then add more content to the website that the page you are promoting belongs to, and link all the pages on the website to each other, you will get the robots to spider your page and rank you in the search engines.

Every number one position you can get your site means that you will get the majority of the traffic that searches for that term. It may be that you only get 50 visitors per month, but you will have hundreds of those types of words that you are number one for and 50 time 100 equals 5,000 visitors. Multiply that by an average of saay 10 cents per visitor and you get $500. Not too bad since these income streams keep going and since there are so many terms that are available to do this for you you can keep finding more and more ideas.

So, the idea of using the content generating software to create an unlimited supply of original quality content that you can use to advertise your site, and the ability of Keyword Elite to help you find low competition keyword phrases and relevent content pages you have a simple way to keep generating new income streams.

Now that I have this idea and plan on using it I will be back to let you know if it is all just another one of those pipe dreams or if it is the real Mccoy! Some goals for tomorrow:

1. Submit an article to 10 more article directories
2. Research more of the niches I have articles for
3. create content for low competition keywords
4. Email my list their Keyword Lists & Articles
5. go to the gym!

I now have most of the directories in Article Submitter set up so I have to enter the information for my article once and start submitting it. I am going to go back to some of the original articles I created, while I was just getting the article directories set up, and change the body of the article and submit it to more of the directories. One more thing I need to check on is if the directories are the same or not on SEO Elite and Article submitter. If not, I need to add the directories that I am missing from The Article Submitter Software.

One other project, that I am getting ahead of myself with, is an ebook that I will be giving away with my affiliate links embedded in it, all about how to use the article marketing method along with the keyword method to make AdSense money. Confusing results

Today has been a little less profitable than yesterday. I have still only made $1.13 from AdSense. This is all profit but I feel like I should be making more based on the amount of work I've put in. I have been submitting articles like crazy. I need to submit a couple more to ezine articles.com and I need to set up another website still today. I slacked a little on getting started on my secon effort for today. I did spend extra time on my first project today so, I expect to see a jump in my traffic in the near future.

I am going to set up another niche site later tonight or tomorrow and I am going to submit more articles. Another link getting technique I am going to try is social bookmarking and blog sites. Well, I've got work to do so I'll report back tomorrow.

Exciting Times

I am more excited now that I've found a way to actually make money on the internet than I've ever been about anything I've tried on the internet. I've already made $1.13 today and I did the work already. This is awesome! I am using a technique that works.

Now comes the time for more planning. It has taken me years to finally find this system. When it really takes off I am going to be ecstatic. I am going to continue my article marketing campaigns for a week and see how it affects my bottom line. If it is working as well as I plan I will then start a new project. I will keep up my article marketing but I will start adding more affiliate products. I am looking into Commission Junction as another source of products. ClickBank is nice but it doesn't have as much diversity as CJ. But, I have sold a few clickbank products already.

Today I am going to need to pick up the pace a little more, since I don't have to go to work today. Here are the goals for today, the ones I'm also writing down:

1. Submit 2 articles to all of the article directories in SEO Elite
2. Get 2 more sites up and running with article marketing campaigns.

Once I finish these tasks I will report where I'm at with AdSense for today.

My plan seems to be working

I have had a little success today. I succeeded at generating free traffic. I have made the most money from AdSense to date, granted it is only about $4.50. My actual earnings were $6.61 but AdWords cost me a little over $2. The site that I got free traffic was about 5 times more profitable than all of the traffic I paid for.

The IContentRobot seems to be working for me. I have been spending some time setting up accounts with as many article directories as possible. I have been using a feature from SEO Elite that allows me to submit one article to many different directories in a much quicker method than doing each one by hand.

I think I am going to go back to using my old directory submitter software. It is made by the same guy, Brad Callen, who created SEO Elite. There are some features on the article submitter program that are not available on the SEO Elite software. The only problem is I don't have all of my information saved on the right software. This will take me a little while to accomplish, makes a lot of today's work pointless but I had to try something to find out I didn't like it.

I published an article to 10 different sites today. I also registered for a bunch of directory sites. That is going to save me so much time. I don't have to spend time writing content anymore, it is so awesome. I have faith in this method of advertising. I am going to feel like an ass if today was just a fluke, but I still feel good right now.

I also made a new blog post with an instantly created article and I also emailed my list. I tried to have them read this blog or go to the IContentRobot site. This is one program that I feel is a must. The other stuff will work but it takes time to get to know the software. This is an easy way to get traffic to your site and start making money with AdSense. Once I see a little more evidence of the profitability of this software I am going to add some affiliate products to my sites and see how that works.

Maybe, when I am making enough money to quit my job, I will put together a guide that talks about making money on the internet. This is getting better and better, I am really excited right now. I have a funny feeling in my stomach, in a good way. I am going to be financially free real soon!

Tomorrow is Saturday. I have plenty of time to work on this advertising method. The one site that I had success with made more than $5 for me today. I spent the majority of the day promoting that site. I am devising a new plan. A new goal set:

1. Generate enough money to replace my job income
2. Generate more free time by getting more efficient
3. Set short term goals

Now for the short term goals:

1. Spend the time on a website's promotion to get it generating $5 per day
2. Don't spend more than 3 days on one site, if it isn't making me $5/day I need to move on. The logic here is to create many different income streams. After a little I plan on having quite a few websites. Even if the sites I pay attention to for 3 days don't generate me tons of income they are still out there working for me for free.
3. I will be monitoring daily just about everything possible on my new sites, the ones that are generating traffic the best will be modified to include some sort of affiliate products. Of course I will be trying different things here in the near future and hopefully I will find the best way to make things work.

I am working hard, sometimes 6-12 hours a day on this business. I have been doing this for quite some time now. This is the best I've felt about my internet business success. I can't wait to have this thing set on autopilot!

Follow Up

Mission is nearly accomplished. I have one more site to create. I am counting blog posts as website creation. I am going to post one more blog tonight. The time now is 7:25 p.m., and I am just about done for today. Not bad for 2 hours of work. Tomorrow should go even faster since I started using the article submitter included with my SEO Elite Software and had to re-enter all of my login information. Now I have a few sites that are saved.

My AdSense is going ok today. I am going to have to start adding more channels to track my ads because I made money from somewhere and I need to find out where so I can not only report it here but so I can improve on it. I will be doing that either tonight or tomorrow. I am proud to say that I am working hard on this new project and I expect that I will soon be reaping the benefits of all this trial and error.

I made a profit of $1.08 from Adsense so far today. Not too bad! As long as I keep my head up above water for a little while longer I'll be doing well. Now for tomorrow's goals:

1. Submit to another 10 article directories
2. Post 1 article on a blog
3. Make sure all of my sites have AdSense tracking channels
4. and Send out daily email to my subscribers

Plan In Action

I am about to get started with today's work. I have to submit 10 articles today. I must create 5 new webpages. I have got to do some keyword research for my loyal subscribers. I also need to find out how long this is going to take me. So, when I finish this posting I will be reporting the time I am quitting for the day. It is 5:23 P.M. right now, next post = mission accomplished for today!

One More Winner For Today!

I only got four visitors to my site today but two of them clicked on an ad and made me 42 cents. It only cost me 14 cents for the traffic. The site came from content I created from my Keyword Elite Software. I optimized the page for a certain keyword. Then I built a huge list of related keywords. I bid a small but for many words. I am getting lots of impressions on the content networks but not too many clicks. My AdSense CTR is pretty good. It is not as high as the guy from AdSense Arbitrage case study but it is a lot better than ever before.

As for the new IContentRobot Software, I have been creating articles and content feverishly. I've submitted more than 10 articles today already (in about 1 hour)! Next time I submit articles it will go faster because I won't have to sign up to each directory again. I've only created one new webpage so far today but I am coming up with Ideas left and right. I may use some of the articles to market an affiliate product or two.

Maybe I'm addicted to new products online that are gonna make me money fast! I am really starting to enjoy it more and more. I have been frustrated for a long time, and now, things are finally seeming to fall into place. I mean I've actually made money with a few different AdWords Ads, I have a good content creator, and I have outstanding keyword research tools.

Now I am in need of doing a little more planning. I have this new software that allows me to create tons of unique content. There are tons of things I can do with all this content. I want to try out everything. But I need to pick a method and try it for awhile. I have been going crazy submitting articles because I know that this is a good method of driving traffic to your site. The one way links are very good for getting high natural search engine rankings. It is also a way of virally spreading your link around the internet.

So far the sites I've built are only monetized by AdSense. I am debating on whether or not I should ad some sort of affiliate products to my websites and see if I get any income from that. First I'm going to stick to the AdSense sites and see if I get traffic to them.

I need to set up some steps that I must follow every day to see what happens when I change something. I guess, I also need to keep testing different methods and then settle down as I find things that work. So I guess I need to set up some ways to track my efforts.

I am so excited about all of these ideas flowing through my head that I am going crazy. Time to decide on a plan. I am going to continue submitting articles daily. 10 per day shall suffice. I am also going to create more webpages. I'll go with 5 per day. Also, I am going to keep track of the time I spend on this work.

I need to figure out if I can actually work less hours each day and earn more money. I would like to plan my business, my work, around my day rather than have to plan -8+ hours per day around a job! Tomorrow evening I will report my timing for these projects. There will be no fooling around either. Just complete my tasks, and report them.

Something New Again

I am still making a little bit of money everyday from one of my AdSense Sites. I made about $1.66 today. And that includes all of my Advertising costs. I am looking into the idea of getting away from AdWords soon. I can't seem to get it to work for me yet. Iwill keep up the ones that are actually earning me a profit each day and report how I am making out. I am also going to be trying out different things that will also help me generate income.

I have heard plenty of times that getting links to a site, and getting traffic will help generate tons of cash. I found a product that helps you create content quickly. The content is original, it is clearly written and it is abundant. It is called IContentRobot. I have created 4 articles, turned 2 into web pages and 2 were submitted to an article directory. It took me a total of 45 minutes to do all of that plus get the program, figure out how to use it and to send out my daily emails!

If anything, it at least makes you feel productive. I will begin working on this project alot in the next few weeks. I will be reporting all of my endeavors here to help you see what is working and what isn't. I have this feeling inside that won't go away. I have to make money online, enough to give me the freedom from reporting to a job every day!

A Nice Relaxing Weekend

It was a nice relaxing weekend that just passed. My Parents were in town and we hung out. Nice to see them and nice to get away from the computer once in awhile! My Ads were profitable this weekend. Not extremely but as long as it is in the plus, I'm all good. Now, I am back at my Arbitrage game. Today I put up a site about bankruptcy mailing lists. It came from the niche from yesterday about bankruptcy. I chose the word because it has a huge gap in the first 3 AdWords positions. I then built a small keyword list based on the keyword 'bankruptcy mailing list' and used it for my AdWords campaign. I just barely got it up and running so I have nothing to report on it yet.

This is the first site based on a keyword that has such a huge gap in prices. I am kind of rolling the dice here. I could pay a good price and get no clicks, or I could pay a small price and get a few clicks for a nice payout! As I am writing this I think I may have to tone down the high paying words a little. I need to stop trying to hit home runs and concentrate more on singles. I have one site that is bringing me in a constant trickle but it is hard to find another.

There are times when I think that I ought to do a little more concentration on getting a site up and running that is actually listed in the search engines. One that I spend the time to get it indexed and optimized and the content is all mine and original, and it makes me money on autopilot. Then I remember to focus on one thing, master it then move on. I must have discipline here and stick to my guns until I start to see the results I want.

I am going to quit my day job soon and have the easy, laid back lifestyle I've always dreamed about. I am going to commit myself to making two sites for arbitrage per day. The ones that don't cost anything I'll keep. The ones that don't produce anything, not even impressions I am going to erase on a weekly basis. So, if it is not doing anything after a week then I am going to remove it and focus more on what's working.

For my second site today I am going to randomly search for a keyword. It will be... 'self help'! I will put up it's URL on this site so you can see how simple the site is. If you are also using the Arbitrage method and having success please post a model page to help me, get a little exposure and help anyone else currently trying to achieve success with Arbitrage.

Today's Niche

Today's niche, 'starting a business' has some words that I think I can deal with. They have a decent spread between the 1 & 3 positions. The other problem I am running into is figuring out what the actual results in my Keyword Elite program are showing me. When I do the "Analyze Pay-Per-Click Listings" report I have the option to have the results shown from different types of searches. There is a title, anchor and text option. I think that they show results based upon Google's searches results for those specific searches. For example, if you did the research for the keyword 'tiger' with the box 'Title Results' checked and you get a number of results reported by keyword Elite, you can get the same results by typing in 'allintitle:tiger' into the Google search engine. The same applies for the 'Anchor results' box. I need to go back into Keyword Elite and re educate myself on this specific part of the tool.

Honestly, I don't know if the results will be counted twice if the website has the title in some anchor text somewhere in the page or what kind of count you'd get if you left the boxes unchecked. I also need to learn how those numbers are important when choosing a niche word for the Arbitrage model.

Today I am going to try something a little different. I am going to optimize a page, for one of the keywords I generated from today's niche. I am choosing a keyword that has more than one dollar spread in the bid prices of the top three AdWords Positions. I am going to bid at 60% of the 3rd position bid. From what I read yesterday that is the approximate amount that AdSense pays you, 65% of what the Advertiser is charged for the click. When I put the AdSense Code on my page I will only have a few places available for the Advertisers. Probably 3 or for available positions at the most. That means that only the top paying ads should be shown on my site.

I have big plans for this but I first need to see some positive results. I think that I am starting to get this Arbitrage method down. Of course, I thought that the first time I read the Keyword Elite Case Study on "AdSense Arbitrage" and I failed miserably quite a few times.

Today I've already spent more than I've earned in the arbitrage game, but I've also gained a little more insight and I am a little closer to making it big online! I will report more tomorrow on how things are going.

The More You Know...

There is a saying, from Socrates I think, that goes something like, "the more I know the more know I don't know" or "if I am wise it is because I know that I don't know."

In other words, I am learning about AdSense Arbitrage and as soon as I think I am understanding a concept I find something new and confusing. The important thing for me right now is to just test and test. The hard part is to keep the tests affordable.

I have one site that usually earns me a few cents to a couple dollars a day. Then, I go and try something like bid high for a word, get a bunch of clicks and then don't get a good compensation rate for the AdSense clicks. My CTR is good on AdSense but I am not getting high payouts.

and it is very informational. It isn't a giant advertisement or trying to sell anything. It does have AdSense on it and that is about all the advertising I saw. It links to other blogs about AdSense Arbitrage. It is helpful if you want a little more information about arbitrage.

One thing I found out was how AdSense does some sort of Smart Pricing. They penalize your earnings per click if your traffic doesn't convert to sales for the Advertisers or something weird like that. I also learned a little more about how to choose a keyword to bid on.

As for today's niche 'dating' and the list I generated, I didn't find any keywords that seem profitable. Now, the thing I am having trouble grasping is the two different arbitrage philosophies:

1. Bid lower than what AdSense will pay you
2. Bid low no matter what

What I mean is, should I bid to get my ad shown or should I just have many keywords with low bids that generate traffic? I guess I am going to have to experiment. For right now, I haven't yet put into practice what I learned from the website I mentioned earlier, and I made less in AdSense than I spent in AdWords.

One site made me $1.06 and one cost me $2.74. so I made -$1.68. Not too costly of a mistake but one I must definitely improve upon. I am going to do another research project tonight but I won't finish until tomorrow. I am going to implement some new strategies when deciding on which keywords to use. I will also explain my decision tomorrow.

Changes Already

I tried to make up a page for each of the daily PLR articles I get each day and I wasn't too happy with the results. I don't think that they were good for AdSense Arbitrage. Today I decided to try something a little different. I took about 5 of the keywords from my list that seemed to get a lot of AdWords clicks and also had a potential for a decent AdSense payout. I then used Keyword Elite to generate some articles for each of those keywords. I found one that was optimized well for a "good" keyword and made a web page out of it along with some AdSense ads.

Next, I am going to go over my AdSense Arbitrage case study and see what the guy did to build his AdWords keyword lists. Once I have a good set of words to use I am going to do a little research on what Ads are number getting the most hits for those words and model my ad after them.

The idea of making 5 pages and doing all of this research is too much for me right now. I don't have the time or the experience to take on that project right now. The articles are not based on the best keywords and I don't have the will to rewrite them to the extent necessary for good things to happen.

What I am thinking now is that I will take the niche and research it and do like I did today and pick what words I think will do well, make one page for one main word and a few secondary words. That way I have enough time to create a good list or two for my AdWords campaigns.

Another Learning Experience

Well, my 'divorce' site didn't go too well. It got disapproved from Google, well not actually disapproved but all keywords had a minimum of $10.00 bid. That is Google's way of saying your ad is totally inappropriate for the keywords you are bidding on.

So, I've decided to try another approach. I am getting PLR Articles sent to me daily from:

There are 5 articles each day. The articles are full of poor grammar. I will edit them to make sense, set them up on a web page, optimize the page for a set of keywords, and put some AdSense up on them. I will report how they are doing on this Blog. I have a feeling that this is going to be a lot of work but this is my goal for now.

If I can't get 5 pages up a day then I will do as many as possible. The biggest time consumer is the Keyword Research. Although Keyword Elite makes it much faster there are still some limits to what it can do. I will be creating a separate keyword list for each web page. So, I am going to have to limit the research that I do for each one. Here are some guidelines that I'll follow for now. They will be adjusted as I go along.

1. 200 word list using Google's Suggestion Tool option in Keyword Elite.
2. optimize for the best terms (I will clarify this more tomorrow)
3. report previous days stats for top performing pages

Looking Good

I just got home from work and I checked my "divorce" Campaign. I forgot to add an AdSense channel to track it but I'm fairly certain that it made me $2 and cost me $0.15. I didn't have any keywords active for search because my bids were too low. Both mysterious clicks that I assume came from my divorce website came from the content network. I upped my minimum bid to activate a few words for search just now. I want to see if that will bring me any more traffic and more income to make it worth bidding more.

Oh yeah, I also didn't use the PLR articles from Daily PLR articles because I forgot about it after my time away from my computer. Instead I used an article gathered for me from my Keyword Elite Software. I changed a word here and there to better match the keyword I chose to optimize for. I put a link at the bottom of the page to adhere to AdSense policies and then let it fly. I use the Xsite Pro Software to build my pages fast and easy. Today I am going to be doing research on some more of the niches from the PLR articles and I will be making sites for some of those keywords if they are profitable.

So, I am off to work now! It is so much nicer to do this for work than to go to my job. No bosses. No one telling me what to do. I can't wait to do this full time!

Tough Times

Well, I've been away for awhile. I lost a good friend last week. I was out of town all weekend and I haven't been working since I've been gone. Today is my first day back at work. As far as my experiment, I am just getting started. I will be reporting soon on what's going on with it. I am behind on my Daily Keyword Lists so I have to catch back up on that. I have to also tie in my personal research projects and get back up to speed on this blog. Lots of work to do, not enough time in the day! I came up with another money making idea today. I will be creating AdSense Arbitrage campaigns regularly. The ones that are marginal I will sell for immediate profit. The ones that are exceptional I will develop and live off of. I can't wait to stop going to my day job!

My goal is to be done with the day job by my birthday in May. That means that I have to be generating enough money to replace my current income and cover my bills. That will be enough to quit my job and allow me the time to really flourish online. So, I guess that means I should stop rambling for now and get back to work.

My Game Plan

Well, I have been busy. I have started a website that gives away free keyword list and free PLR articles. I use it mostly to see if I can build a list of subscribers. I also market the Kdeyword Elite software to them on occasion. I haven't developed a product idea yet to sell to my website visitors or email list. I did however, come up with an idea today for a project.

I am going to actually test out the free ebook methods of AdSense Arbitrage and the PLR articles and my keyword elite software. Not much difference to what I normally do but this time I am going to publish my results. I don't exactly know how to publish screen shots that black out certain information or what all I'm allowed to show from google. I will tell everyone what I'm allowed to according to google's terms of service. If you know a good way to show screenshots please leave it in a comment on this blog!

Now, on to my experiment...

As I was doing my routine daily keyword lists I came across some good looking numbers for the AdSense Arbitrage method. I was running a 100 word list through project two of Keyword Elite when this idea struck me. This niche could be profitable. 'Divorce', lots of high paying words in this niche. I am going to do another search for a bigger keyword list. I will use Keyword Elite's project #1 to this. I am then going to find out which word will be the subject of my Article.

Once I find my main keyword I will optimize one of the Daily PLR articles for this keyword. Next I will build a subpage on my website for that keyword. I will then publish the optimized article along with some AdSense ads.

The next thing I will do is create and AdWords campaign that sends traffic to this site. I will report what happens with this project on a daily basis. So, check back soon!
